Your prayers for the world – tonight (in the bank)

Oftentimes, the news we hear about from our communities and from the rest of the world can feel overwhelming.  Many of us who attend this church are finding that church is an important place to come together and address these problems in our prayers.

Tonight, the readings that will be shared from our pastor, the Bible and Science and Health, were inspired by one of our members’ prayers about ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) and this group’s violent tactics in Iraq.  Read: The Monitor’s View – Rally Iraq’s Muslims against ISIS beheadings

All are welcome to join us tonight… this is a place for healing.

And if you can’t join in person, you can always call in to the service at (605) 475-4000, code: 636128.  As a reminder, we start at 7:35pm, EDT – East Coast time.

If you do happen to be looking for us in person, you can find us at our usual Wednesday spot, “the bank” – aka the Eastern Bank community room at 687 Centre St, Jamaica Plain.

Yours,

JP Church
