Dear Jamaica Plain community,
The weather for tomorrow looks like it will be glorious, sunny and warm, which is perfect because tomorrow, July 9th, we will be holding a special service in the park at 10 am. (This service is in addition to our regular summer 5:00 pm service at 351 centre st.)
Sunday morning’s church in the park will be held in Mozart park. See map
This is a two minute walk from our Reading Room at 351 Centre St. Cross the street and walk towards Jackson square. The park will be on your right.
Or if you are coming from the Jackson square T stop, walk up the hill (as if you were going to the Reading Room) the park is just past Walden St and across on your left.
Away from the street, towards the back of the park there are steps. This is where we will have our church service.
Comfort: you might want to bring a cushion or folding chair if you have one. We will have blankets to sit on, but this area is concrete. (If you are able to bring an extra chair or cushion that would be welcome).
We will sing hymns, hear a gorgeous solo, and listen to our lesson sermon read from our pastor: the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The subject of this week’s lesson is Sacrement.
All are welcome and warmly invited.
If you are unable to attend in person, you can call into the our service: (605) 475-4000 #636128
We hope to join with you tomorrow.
